The Laudium Community Policing Forum (CPF) is proud to announce its successful assistance and support during the Gauteng Premier League (GPL) T20 Season 2 Finals, held today at the Laudium Oval.
CPF members were on the ground from early morning, working alongside event organizers to ensure the safety, order, and enjoyment of all players, spectators, and community members who attended this exciting sporting occasion. Their role included coordination, visibility patrols, and maintaining a family-friendly environment throughout the day.
The GPL Season 2 Finals brought tremendous energy to our community, showcasing not only high-quality cricket but also unity and sportsmanship. We commend all the participating teams for their commitment and spirited performances throughout the season.
A special congratulations goes to the Sky Kings, who once again proved their championship caliber by successfully defending their title and emerging as back-to-back winners of the GPL. Their achievement is a source of pride and inspiration for many young sports enthusiasts in Laudium and across Gauteng.
The Laudium CPF remains committed to supporting safe, well-organized community events that bring people together in a positive way. Today’s finals demonstrated the powerful combination of sport, community, and safety working hand in hand.
