The Laudium Community Policing Forum (CPF) extends its warm appreciation to the Shree Pretoria Hindu Seva Samaj for hosting the spectacular Diwali Celebration on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at the Laudium Stadium.
The event brought together thousands of residents and visitors from across different communities and backgrounds, who came out in unity to celebrate the Festival of Lights in a spirit of peace, joy, and togetherness.
The evening featured vibrant live performances of traditional music and dance from various cultural groups, a colourful selection of stalls offering food, crafts, and festive goods, and concluded with a magnificent fireworks display that illuminated the Laudium skyline — a true reflection of the suburb’s diversity, harmony, and shared celebration.
The Laudium CPF members were on duty throughout the event, assisting with crowd control, traffic coordination, and security management, working hand in hand with Laudium SAPS and event organisers to ensure that the celebration remained safe, well-organised, and enjoyable for everyone.
The CPF commends the organisers and applauds the unity shown by the community — demonstrating once again that Laudium thrives when its people stand together in respect, culture, and mutual celebration.
