The Laudium CPF Youth Desk is a dynamic sub-forum established by the Community Police Forum to engage young people in community safety initiatives. With over 80+ active youth members, we’re building a movement of young change-makers committed to creating safer spaces for all.

Our Vision

The vision of the Youth Desk is youth mobilisation towards a safe and peaceful Laudium community through active participation in crime prevention and social development programs.

Who We Are

The Laudium Youth Desk operates under the Laudium Community Policing Forum, working closely with SAPS Social Crime Prevention members to coordinate youth safety projects and activities that address pressing social issues affecting young people.

Our Objectives

Partnership Building

Establish and maintain partnerships between youth and the Police Service while advocating for youth safety needs.

Holistic Programs

Develop activities and programs that address the comprehensive needs of young people in our community.

Crime Prevention

Implement youth-led crime prevention and safety projects that make a tangible difference.

Police Accountability

Improve police services through promoting transparency and community accountability.

Problem Solving

Facilitate joint problem identification and solution development between police and youth.

Trust Building

Foster productive relationships between SAPS and youth based on mutual trust and respect.
